How does it work?

CAD Envy is a website dedicated to CAD education. CAD stands for Computer Aided Design, and that’s how we create digital 3D models that we 3D print or manufacture with other methods. We can also use the 3D models in other digital applications.

The courses are based mostly on video tutorials. Some of the courses are completely free and open, others requires you to register (but they are currently still free).

To learn CAD, you actually have to do CAD. Learning CAD by just watching videos would be like learning how to ride a bicycle by just watching videos. You would understand the principle, but you wouldn’t learn how to actually ride a bicycle. You are expected to follow along in the CAD program as you take the course.
